Tip of the MonthHow to export SAP reports to EXCEL sheets on your local computer, by Andy Shi In many cases users of SAP reporting systems are facing the problem of analyzing the reported data of the Information System (LIS, FIS, etc.) in more detail, but the SAP report does only allow simple tools like filtering or summarizing functions. In order to analyze the data in more complex environments the data can be exported to an MS Office Excel sheet. In MS Excel the users can use additional formulas and easily create diagrams for professional presentations with a tool they know very well. Here are the 7 steps from our tip of the month: 1. First start a report, e.g. in the SIS (Sales Information System) with your selection parameters. You will get a report result which looks similar to the following screen. ![]() 2. Click in the below picture (export) and select "electronic table"![]()
in the below picture and go into the following picture:![]() 4. Choose "table" in below picture ![]() 5. Confirm: ![]() 6. See below Excel format file. After being put into order , it can be saved on your PC. ![]() 7. The following steps are depending on your analysis and diagram requirements.
